House Storeys Classification

Split Level – The floor level of one part is about half a storey above or below the floor level of the adjacent part.
Bi-Level – Bi-level houses are typically a one storey house that has been raised up and another level (ground floor or raised basement) is found beneath.
Basement – Basements are not included in house storey classification. Above-grade basement windows are to be included later in the window classification.
